Maggie's Daughter Women's Tank Top

Maggie was so proud of her beautiful daughter getting married, and showed me a photo, which immediately inspired me to wish to capture its essence. There were strong blue tones and shadows, which from a wedding photograph point of view were too pronounced, but for an inspiration for a portrait, it was superb! I had been greatly influenced by Tamara de la Lempika's Industrial stylization of figures, and had long wished to use the Chiaroscuro method with this artist's influence. The gentle draping of the sheer veil over both people shows an intimacy, and softens the strong shadows. There is an almost Gothic feel to this portrait, which was a free interpretation of what I saw. If you wish to commission a portrait, you may contact me through LinkedIn.
