Featured on the Home Pages of Fine Art America Groups! The magical time of the day when dusk approaches and there is a luminescence in hidden parts of the forest; one imagines the fairies gathering to dance under the lone tree! This original acrylic painting was created in the Chiaroscuro method, using an Impressionistic style to capture the essence of the light striking the bark and the surrounding flowers on the knoll. Painted in my studio from a photograph I took while on a nature walk.
